Happy New Year! Hope your 2012 is off to a great start. :) We celebrated New Year's Eve by going to our friends' Christa/Mark/Johnny/Ollie's annual New Year's Eve party, and it was great! Can't beat great friends one block away with yummy food and drinks for the adults and other kids to play with for the kids. :)
A couple of quotes for this week: First, Aidan has been loving DJing music on the computer to our nightly dance parties, and this week was listening to the "Dog Days are Over" song (the Pentatonix version of Florence and the Machine). After he heard the line where it says, "leave your love behind", he turned to Daddy and said, "but you CAN'T leave your love behind! Because love is in your heart!" (!!)
Second, Kiana did TWO words at a time this week! She has been working on her vocabulary (she has been saying "kitty" for kitty cats, and other words which I keep forgetting to write down!). One night, she wanted to read more books with Daddy before bedtime, so I told her to bring him another book. She brought it right to him, and said "Ma [more] Daddy!" (So cute!)
