Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We had a good week this week. Neither Mommy nor Daddy have had trips these last couple of weeks, and it is amazing how much happier Aidan is at playschool when we are both consistently at home! Of course, we both have more trips coming up soon (I am flying to LA for a conference April 8-11th and Alex is flying to Costa Rica for a week and a half at the end of April) - but after that, things settle down in May again, so that is good. Hopefully we'll have enough settling time in May to get back into a good routine before Kiana comes (due June 10th), and everything changes again!

Easter Sunday was a lot of fun at our house. Aidan woke up to an Easter basket full of goodies (including red and blue M&Ms -in honor of the colors of his favorite (A and 1) subway trains). Mommy and Daddy had strudel, canadian bacon, and fried potatoes for breakfast (Aidan had chocolate!).

Afterwards, we all went to a wonderful Easter service at the Collegiate Church. There, Aidan got to do *another* Easter Egg hunt with his friends Rowan and Jakob (though he was rather disappointed with the teddy grahams, cheerios and goldfish that he found - last year he didn't know any better!).

Then we all went home and met up with Grandma and Grandpa Ruane! Of course, Aidan got yet *another* Easter basket, before we all took a nice, long walk around Fort Tryon park in the gorgeous, 75+ degree weather.

When we got back, we all went to a party at Jakob's house (on the 6th floor), and Grandma read Aidan at least 6 books, which he was thrilled with. After Grandma and Grandpa drove back to Boston, we went to the park again, and then came home again for pasta for dinner. It was a very full, but fun, day!

Unfortunately, Aidan was adamently against taking pictures all day long, so he looks pretty grumpy in some of these, but when he wasn't refusing to take pictures, he was having a pretty good day! He even took this photo of Mommy and Daddy in the park- and it turned out pretty nicely, we think! :)
