Almost there

Daddy is on his last trip before Kiana is born right now, starting out in Costa Rica, and ending up in Panama. Aidan and I have had a pretty good week, though we all miss each other, and time seems to be going really fast right now! We had a fairly normal week, followed by a nice weekend in the Catskills with Grandma and Grandpa Ruane.

On Monday, I had my 32 week ultrasound, where the technician estimated Kiana to be measuing in the 95th weight percentile at over 5.5 lbs already, and at my OBGYN appointment, my doctor said that, if I haven't had her by my due date, they may want to induce me, to avoid risks associated with deliveries of kids born over 10 lbs. We'll see how it goes. Right now, I'm just trying to get through my last side projects before she is born, and don't want her to come early, but am pretty uncomfortable, so it would be a relief if she did! I'm sure it will all work out fine, however things happen.

Things are pretty busy, so I'm going to keep this short. Here is a funny excerpt of the conversations Aidan and I have been having recently (this happened Friday):

Aidan: "Mama, we need to move."
Me: "Why?" Aidan: (pointing out the window at the school next door) "There's too many people here. We need to move to South America."
Me: "South America?"
Aidan: "Yes. South America, or Africa, or Europe, or Asia, or Africa."
(!!!!)

Here's a picture of Daddy visiting volcanoes in Costa Rica.
