We had a pretty good week this week. On Tuesday, Aidan went to Noah's 3rd birthday party (loved the cupcakes!). On Wednesday, we got to hang out with some old friends: Sara, Grace, and Liam were back visiting from Morocco, and Christa took the day off work with Johnny and Oliver; so, Mommy had lunch with them earlier, and Aidan joined after playschool at Javitts. That was fun!
The rest of the week and weekend, Aidan had fun with Daddy while I went to my last conference for a while at USC in Los Angeles("20 Years of Feminist International Relations").
I had a fantastic time, and while I was gone, Aidan had a great time too - they visited the old L train tracks, went to the Central Park zoo (where he saw polar bears wrestling and swimming backstroke!), and played with his bus on a giant "LOVE" sign (so cute!). When Mommy got back at bedtime Sunday night, he greeted me with incredibly cute giggles and snuggles (rather than being mad that I had gone)- the best homecoming I've had, yet!
